General Catalog Numbering System

The L-880(L) LED PAPI (4-unit) and L-881(L) LED APAPI (2-unit) use the following base catalog format: 880- or 881- followed by leg length, voltage type, and options. All configurations are ETL certified to FAA AC 150/5345-28 and EB 67, and compliant with ICAO Annex 14, Transport Canada TP 312, CASA, and EASA standards.

 

Base Model

880 = L-880(L) 4-Unit LED PAPI
881 = L-881(L) 2-Unit LED APAPI

Leg Length

14 = 14-inch legs
24 = 24-inch legs
30 = 30-inch legs
(Other lengths available upon request; consult factory)

Voltage / Current Type

3 = 3-step 6.6A series circuit
5 = 5-step 6.6A series circuit

Options

H = Arctic Heater (factory-installed thermostat-controlled heater for cold environments)
A = 2-inch Frangible Coupling (for use with 2-inch EMT stake or baseplate)
(Additional accessories such as remote control units, spare parts kits, or special leg lengths are ordered separately)

Ordering Notes

All units include factory-set baffles and are supplied pre-wired for series circuit operation.
Arctic heater option (H) is recommended for installations where temperatures drop below freezing to prevent condensation and maintain photometric performance. 2-inch frangible coupling (A) is used when mounting on 2-inch EMT or compatible baseplates.
