Overview

The CCR front panel keypad allows operators to control and monitor the regulator. Keypad buttons provide access to operational control, mode selection, fault and warning review, and configuration settings. Understanding each button prevents improper operation.

ON Button

Pressing ON commands the CCR to energize. When pressed, the input contactor is commanded to close. Output current begins regulating at the selected brightness step. If the CCR does not turn ON, verify no active fault is present. Confirm proper control voltage. Verify S-1 cutout position.

OFF Button

Pressing OFF commands the CCR to shut down. When pressed, the input contactor opens. Output current is disabled. OFF overrides active step selection.

LOCAL Button

Pressing the arrow keys marked LOCAL places the CCR under front-panel control. In Local mode, brightness steps are selected from the keypad. Remote wiring and network commands are ignored. Use Local mode during commissioning, troubleshooting or regular usage without a remote.

REMOTE Button

Pressing REMOTE places the CCR under external control. In Remote mode, step selection is controlled by remote terminals or network commands. Front-panel step control is disabled. If remote control does not function, verify the CCR is in Remote mode.

FAULT Button

Pressing FAULT displays active fault conditions. Faults may disable output, prevent startup, or indicate protective shutdown. Use the fault screen to identify the cause before restarting.

WARNING Button

Pressing WARNING displays active warning conditions. Warnings indicate abnormal conditions and do not always disable output. Warnings should be investigated but may not require immediate shutdown.

CONFIG Button

Pressing CONFIG accesses the configuration menu. Access requires password entry. The configuration menu allows remote voltage selection, step configuration changes, and advanced parameter settings. Unauthorized configuration changes may affect operation.

Button Operation Notes

Use the arrow buttons to navigate menus and the two dot buttons to perform a corresponding action that will be displayed on screen over the button.
