General Maintenance Notes

Perform all maintenance tasks at the specified intervals to ensure continued reliable flashing, proper intensity, and compliance with photometric requirements. Cleaning the lens removes contaminants that reduce effective intensity and visibility. Alignment verification maintains correct beam projection for runway end identification or approach guidance. Cabinet inspections prevent moisture, debris, or vegetation from affecting electrical components or safety interlocks. Tightening EMT connections and checking seals preserves structural integrity and weatherproofing. All work must be performed with power disconnected and lockout/tagout procedures followed.
