Overview

The LVCV line of power supplies are used in multiple current based fixtures to supply the proper voltage. This is a quick description on how to test the power supply for functionality.

Procedure

  1. De-energize the fixture and remove any connectors currently attached.
  2. Re-energize
  3. Take a true rms multimeter in DC Voltage mode and place the probes on the two outside pins of any of the outputs.
  4. Read the voltage and compare to required. Currently this component comes in the following forms:
    • 24v 
    • 48v

If the power supply is not outputting the expected voltage then a replacement is necessary.
