T25 Torx driver.

Power Off and Lockout

Ensure the Constant Current Regulator (CCR) is fully powered down and locked out before beginning any disassembly.

Remove the Cap

Use a T25 Torx driver to remove the four screws securing the cap to the fixture body.
Lift the cap straight off and set it aside.
Note: The cap orientation determines Side A and Side B for reference.

Disconnect and Remove the Connector Board

Locate the connector board seated between the two light engines and the Power/Control board.
Using your fingers or a small non-marring tool, carefully lift the board upward from both ends.
The connector board has three rows of male pins:
- One set connects to the Power/Control board (center).
- The other two connect to Side A and Side B light engines (ends).
Gently rock the board side to side while lifting to evenly disengage all three sets of pins.
Do not pry or twist forcefully — bending the pins on the Power/Control board or light engine could cause permanent damage.
Set the board aside for inspection or replacement.

Install a Known-Good Connector Board

Align the replacement connector board so the center pin socket lines up with the Power/Control board, and each end aligns with the light engine connectors.
Press down evenly on both sides to seat all three connectors at once.
Apply light, firm pressure — the board should snap into place without excessive force.
Confirm that all rows of pins are fully engaged and seated flush with the board surface.

Reinstall the Cap

Reinstall the cap onto the fixture.
Use a T25 driver to reinstall the four screws, applying firm downward pressure to compress the gasket evenly.

Restore Power and Test

Re-energize the CCR.
Step through output levels and observe whether both light engines operate as expected.
Confirm that light output is stable and consistent across all intensities.

Safety Reminder

Always maintain safe working conditions by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary.
Only qualified service personnel should perform connector board replacement on airfield LED fixtures.
Follow lock out / tag out procedures and verify absence of hazardous voltage before disassembly or handling connectors.
