T25 Torx driver.

Power Off and Lockout

Ensure the Constant Current Regulator (CCR) is fully powered down and locked out before beginning.

Disconnect and Remove the Connector Board

Gently lift and disconnect the connector board.
Avoid bending or applying excessive force — the board and pin headers are fragile.
Set the board aside safely.

Remove the Power and Control Board

Grip the power/control board by the base.
Pull straight up with steady, even pressure.
Do not rock or twist the board during removal.

Inspect the Arctic Kit (If Present)

Visually inspect the thermostat board and its wiring.
Check all conductors running between the thermostat board and the light engines.
Do not tug on these wires they are delicate and permanently attached to the light engines.
If intermittent light output has been observed, carefully apply light pressure to the thermostat wires at the light engine connection point while power is applied. This may temporarily restore contact and confirm connector failure.
Do not attempt to remove the thermostat board unless you disconnect the wires connected to it that run from the light engines.
Disconnect the wires at the thermostat board NOT the light engine
Trying to extract the thermostat board with these wires still attached may cause the connectors to detach from the light engines. These connections cannot be repaired without replacing the light engine.

Inspect and Re-seat All Components

Check all visible boards (including the input board at the bottom where all other boards connect) and connectors for:
- Loose or lifted boards
- Bent pins or misaligned connectors
- Signs of corrosion or mechanical damage
Carefully reinsert each board:
- Control board into the base
- Thermostat board if applicable
- Connector board into both light engines and the control board
Ensure all pins are aligned and fully seated without force.

Reapply Power and Observe Behavior

Restore power to the CCR.
Observe whether the light engines power on.
Check for stability/flickering.

Safety Reminder

Always maintain safe working conditions by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary.
Only qualified service personnel should perform electronics reseating on airfield LED fixtures.
Follow lock out / tag out procedures and verify absence of hazardous voltage before handling boards or connectors.
