Overview

In a 120V Internally Powered configuration, the CCR supplies 120 VAC control voltage to the remote control system. The remote control system returns that voltage to the appropriate step input terminals to command brightness levels. This configuration uses the CCR’s internal 120 VAC supply.

Verify Remote System Voltage and Source

Before making connections, confirm the remote control system operates on 120 VAC. Confirm the system is intended to use voltage supplied by the CCR (Internally Powered).

Disconnect CCR Supply Power

Disconnect input power to the CCR before performing any remote wiring. Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures.

Connect Step Selection Terminals

Connect B10 through B100 or B1 through B5 to the matching labeled terminal blocks. The terminal blocks for B10 through B100 are shared with B1 through B3. These terminals correspond to brightness step selection.

CC / B1 Jumper Consideration

If the control system includes both CC and B1 wires, remove the jumper between the CC and B1 terminal blocks. If the control system does not provide a separate B1 signal, leave the jumper installed. This ensures proper step 1 activation logic.

Connect Control System Power Wire

For 120V Internally Powered systems, connect the control system power wire to the CCI terminal block. In this configuration, the CCR provides 120 VAC. The control system routes that voltage to step input terminals. Do not remove the FA5 fuse. Do not remove the 120-INT jumper.

Verify Configuration Menu Setting

After wiring is complete, re-energize the CCR. Enter the Configuration menu (password 9999). Navigate to Input Voltage. Select 120V. Save settings.

Verify Remote Operation

Place the CCR into Remote mode. Activate the control system at each step (B10 through B100 or B1 through B5). Confirm correct brightness step response. If problems occur, verify the CCR is in Remote mode. Confirm correct input voltage selection. Inspect F5 fuse. Verify 120 VAC is present at the CCI terminal.

Important Wiring Notes

Remote control terminals may carry 120 VAC. Do not apply external 120 VAC in an internally powered configuration. Do not remove the FA5 fuse in 120V Internally Powered systems. Do not remove the 120-INT jumper in this configuration.
